Biography
Ms Nitesh Choudhary is a Commonwealth Scholar at the University of Surrey, United Kingdom, and a Prime Minister’s Research Fellow (PMRF) pursuing her doctoral research at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India. She works under the guidance of Prof. S. Ravi P. Silva (UK), Prof. Pradip K. Maji, and Prof. Ramesh Chandra (India). She earned her BSc and MSc degrees in chemistry from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. Her research focuses on developing biomass-derived electrode materials for advanced energy storage devices. She is particularly interested in electrochemical energy storage systems such as supercapacitors, which offer efficient energy conversion and play a key role in realizing a circular economy. Ms Choudhary was also selected for the International Research Internship Program at the prestigious Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice, Poland. She has received six awards for presenting her research at various conferences/workshops at national and international levels.
