Biography

Dr. Mohammed A. Elhashimi is a Senior R&D Engineer at Energy Recovery, Inc., where his work focuses on advancing energy recovery technologies for industrial fluid systems. His technical expertise spans desalination, multiphase flow, CO₂ refrigeration, AI-enabled optimization, and Bayesian methods. At Energy Recovery, he contributes to the development and performance improvement of technologies that reduce energy losses, improve system efficiency, and support more sustainable operation of water and thermal-fluid systems. He received his doctoral training at Oregon State University and brings a strong research background in modeling, optimization, and applied thermal-fluid sciences.
